The world famous maison de Cartier is most well-known for its jewelry and watch designs. In the past 150 years, the company had released several globally celebrated pieces, starting from the Santos practical wristwatch in 1904. In 1981, Cartier decided to provides its clients with a more complete approach to their personal styling to match the jewelry and watches they provides by entering the fragrance industry. As a result Cartier perfume was conceived with the introduction of the company’s first fragrance for men, the Santos de Cartier. Since then Cartier perfumes had built a reputation for crafting elegant scents that are versatile and luxurious.

Santos de Cartier

Santos de Cartier Perfume

Released in 1981, Santos de Cartier is the first fragrance for men designed by the maison de Cartier. An elegant fragrance designed for use during colder weather or in the evening, the perfume give off a very strong scent of freshness and green at the beginning. It makes one feel mature, serious and sensual, with its warm scent of floral and wood spice. The dry down is an exquisite and persistent mixture of ambergris in a sort of incense aroma.

Featuring top notes of Lavender, Juniper Berries, Basil, Lemon Verbena and Bergamot, middle notes of Rosemary, Nutmeg, Vetiver, Geranium and Pepper, and base notes of Sandalwood, Amber, Patchouli, Coconut, Cedar and Vanilla. With its bottle that is heavy and masculine black in style, Santos de Cartier is definitely a very masculine, mature, seductive and dignified perfume.

Santos de Cartier Reviews

A nice and subtle oriental fragrance that requires still at least 30 years of age to wear and a suit. Leathery, but clean smelling, powdery and citrus-woody. A Cartier cologne with style. I will give this Santos de Cartier Concentree rating of 8 out of a scale of 10, definitely recommended.

Must de Cartier Perfume

Must de Cartier
Must de Cartier

The original vintage was released in 1981; Must de Cartier is an oriental fragrance for women, designed by Jean-Jacques Diener for Cartier. The perfume more suitable for the colder weather and in the evening, is rich, warm and elegant, a true classic on its own. It starts out all light-hearted and lemony, and then becomes kind of cutesy with the flowery and fruity heart and the next thing you know, you are in the musk. The Must de Cartier perfume is a sensual and dark elixir, definitely not for the light hearted women that awaken the passion deep within you. Making you a little dangerous and crazy enough to do crazy things and I should say it is a dangerous fragrance to be given to a young girl.

Must Cartier perfume features top notes of Aldehydes, Pineapple, Green Mandarin, Galbanum, Peach, Bergamot, Brazilian Rosewood and Lemon, middle notes of Carnation, Leather, Yellow Narcissus, Musk, Orchid, Orris Root, Jasmine, Vetiver, Neroli, Ylang-Ylang and Rose, and base notes of Amber, Sandalwood, Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Vetiver and Civet.

Must de Cartier Perfume Reviews

This perfume is a lot like a date. It starts out all light-hearted and lemony. Then it gets kinda cutesy with the flowers and the fruit. And next thing you know, you're in the musk, and you've somehow skipped third base, and you've made it home. I'd say this is a dangerous fragrance to give to a young girl.

Eau de Cartier Perfume

Eau de Cartier was launched in 2001 under the belt of Christine Nagel of Quest for Cartier; the perfume is a citrus aromatic fragrance for both women and men. Its inception was link to the great success of the Déclaration Perfume, an eau de toilette for men, by Cartier launched in 1998, where it found its popularity among women that the women wear it themselves. Even though Eau de Cartier perfume is similar in characteristic to the Declaration Cartier Perfume, a bit dry and woody, it has a more delicate, gentle and flowery characteristic. However the perfume is found to lack the staying power only lasted about 20 minutes. For those longing for a similar but lasting fragrance try the Eau de Cartier Concentrée version.

Featuring top notes of Coriander, Yuzu and Bergamot, middle notes of Violet Leaf, Lavender and Violet, and base notes of Cedar, Patchouli, Musk and White Amber. The fragrance is fit for a corporate world of power suits and expensive lunches, yet delicate enough for a woman.

Delices de Cartier

Delices de Cartier Perfume

Delices de Cartier created by Christine Nagel of Quest in 2006, is a wonderful winter fragrance that is bold, rich, feminine, sweet and alluring. The fragrance sparkles as it begins to unfold, with the pepper adding a pleasant sharpness. The luscious fruity note has a transparent sweetness that contrasts with the radiant floral accord in the heart of the composition. The bottle matched the scent, designed like an intense, red and juicy cherry, giving you the joy of eating glazed cherries or biting into a toffee apple.

Delices de Cartier perfume features top notes of Pink Pepper, Cherry and Bergamot, middle notes of Violet, Freesia and Jasmine, and base notes of Sandalwood, Tonka Bean and Amber. This is a fabulous perfume that is rich and warm with a fantastic lasting power.
